  Composing LTPDA pipelines is done on a "Canvas". Each top-level pipeline,
  and each subsystem, is represented on a canvas. A subsystem block is also
  a view of pipeline.
</p>
<h2>Canvas properties</h2>
<p>
  You can set properties of a canvas via the canvas inspector. To open the 
  inspector, hit <tt>ctrl-i</tt> (<tt>cmd-i</tt> on Mac OS X) on the canvas.

    <li>The author of the canvas</li>
    <li>A description of the canvas</li>

<h2>Searching on the Canvas</h2>

<p>
  You can search for blocks on the current canvas, or across all canvases in the
  workbench. To open the block search dialog, hit <tt>ctrl-f</tt> (<tt>cmd-f</tt> on Mac OS X) on the
  canvas.
